Location: Serving New Braunfels, Canyon Lake, Seguin, and surrounding areas of Universal City
Compensation: $12–$15 per hour
Job Type: Part-time or full-time (15-35 hours per week during Summer Break)

About the Role
Snapology of New Braunfels is seeking enthusiastic and dependable Assistant Instructors to support the delivery of our fun, hands-on STEAM programs. The primary focus of this position is to assist Lead Instructors during camps, classes, workshops, and field trips, helping to create an engaging learning environment where students (ages 6–14) can explore science, technology, engineering, art, and math through LEGO® bricks and other educational tools.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the Lead Instructor in implementing Snapology’s curriculum and activities
  • Help maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Encourage creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving in students
  • Assist with class setup, transitions, and clean-up
  • Engage with students during activities and provide support as needed
  • Communicate professionally with parents, children, and team members
  • Represent Snapology with professionalism and enthusiasm at all times
Requirements:
  • Enjoy working with children and have a patient, positive attitude
  • Comfortable assisting with group activities and managing small groups
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Prior experience working with children is a plus but not required
  • Must pass background check (if 18+)

Programs Available to Assist:
  • After-school and/or evening Classes (September – May)
  • 1-2 hours in length and occur between 2:30 – 5:00pm Monday-Friday
  • Summer Camps (June – August)
  • 1.5-7 hours in length (typically 3 hours per day) and occur between 9am – 4pm Monday-Friday
  • Other Camps & Workshops (Holiday Break, Spring Break, In-Service Days)
  • 1.5-7 hours in length (typically 3 hours per day) and occur between 9am – 4pm Monday-Friday
  • Birthday Parties
  • 2 hours in length and occur on Friday, Saturday or Sunday
