STEAM Summer Camp Instructor
Location: Serving New Braunfels, Canyon Lake, Seguin, and surrounding areas of Universal City
Compensation: $15–$20 per hour + performance-based bonuses
Job Type: Part-time or full-time (15-35 hours per week during Summer Break)

About the Role

We are seeking enthusiastic and creative STEAM Summer Camp Instructor to lead Snapology programs for children ages 4-14. In this role, you’ll inspire young minds by fostering creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills through engaging, hands-on learning experiences in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) using LEGO® bricks.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working in a fun, flexible, and supportive environment. No lesson planning is required—all materials, curriculum, and training are provided!

Key Responsibilities

Lead engaging, curriculum-based activities for groups of up to 20 students.
Follow Snapology’s pre-designed lesson plans and utilize provided materials.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Manage student behavior using established classroom procedures.
Monitor and support individual student progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed.
Communicate professionally with parents, students, and Snapology leadership.
Transport, set up, and clean up materials for each camp session.
Promote future Snapology programs to students and parents.
Attend periodic training sessions and staff meetings.
Travel to various camp locations within the New Braunfels area.

Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 2 years working with children in a classroom, camp, or similar setting.
Education: Teaching degree, state teaching certificate, or current enrollment in an education program preferred.
Skills: Strong communication, classroom management, and organizational skills.
Clearances: Must have current criminal and child safety clearances.
Bonus Experience: Experience working with both typical and neurodiverse learners.
