Getting Started with Us:
As a Snapolog Leader in Training for our LEGO summer camp program, you'll work alongside our experienced staff to gain practical experience.
About the role:
As a LEGO Summer Camp Leader, you'll have the exciting opportunity to work with kids ages 4-10 with various skill levels! You will be responsible for managing groups of up to 16 kids per class, engaging and guiding them to create with LEGO, using motors, axels, programming, and experimenting with robots.
Successful candidates have:
- Energetic personality with a passion for LEGO building and Robotics
- Experience working with groups of children aged 4-10 in a summer camp setting: 1 year( preferred)
- Reliable transportation (preferably a car) to travel to our partner's locations within North York and Midtown, with the ability to transport materials (LEGO boxes) weighing up to 25lbs
- Excellent verbal communication skills to engage and instruct campers with a variety of age and skill levels.
- Background in LEGO Robotics and experience working with LEGO We Do and/or Spike Prime.
- Lots of LEGO love to keep up with the campers and lead exciting LEGO building challenges
- Available for the full 9 weeks of summer camp. Our camps start from July 2nd to August 30th, from 8:30am-4:00pm.
- Available for training during the first 2 weeks of June to prepare for the summer camp season
- Vulnerable Sector Screening (required)
- CPR C & First Aid Certificate (required)
Candidates also:
- Must be punctual, responsible, and able to ensure the safety of all campers during the full 10-week summer camp season.
- Must be reliable and committed to being on time and prepared for every camp day, from start to finish.
- Must be adaptable to work in different camp settings and adjust to the needs of campers of various ages and skill levels.
- Must be professional and comfortable interacting with parents and program directors
- Must be flexible and able to manage various schedules and workloads based on partner's demands.
- Must be able to create a fun and engaging environment for campers, encouraging creativity, collaboration, and a love for Lego building.

The pay rate starts at $16.55 per hour and it's based on the candidate's proven experience and ability to travel on their own vehicle
This position is seasonal and part-time. Summer camp Counsellors typically work between 10 to 30 hours per week.
Compensación: $16.55 - $35.00 per hour
