Job Summary
The Program Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating field trips, developing new partnerships with schools, managing social media and email marketing, teaching educational programs, and coordinating events. This role requires a dynamic individual who is passionate about education, outreach, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities
Outreach and Partnerships
  • Develop and maintain relationships with schools and educational institutions.
  • Coordinate and schedule field trips for schools and other educational groups.
  • Identify and engage with potential new partners for educational programs and outreach.
  • Serve as the primary contact for schools and partners, addressing inquiries and providing necessary information.
Social Media and Email Marketing
  • Manage and execute social media strategies to promote field trips, events, and educational programs.
  • Create engaging content for social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn).
  • Develop and distribute email newsletters and promotional materials to schools, partners, and the community.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of social media and email marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed.
Teaching and Educational Programs
  • Plan, develop, and deliver educational programs and activities for field trips and afterschool classes.
  • Ensure that all educational content is engaging, accurate, and aligns with educational standards.
  • Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs, making improvements as necessary.
Event Coordination
  • Plan and coordinate events related to outreach and educational programs.
  • Collaborate with other departments and external partners to ensure successful event execution.
  • Manage event logistics, including scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation.
  • Promote events through various channels, including social media, email, and community outreach.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in program coordination, outreach, or a related field.
  • Experience in teaching or educational programming is preferred.
Skills and Abilities
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in social media platforms and email marketing tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Creative and innovative thinking in developing engaging educational content and promotional materials.
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed for events.
Working Conditions
  • Office environment with frequent travel to schools and event locations.
  • Must be able to lift and carry materials up to 25 pounds.

  • Summer camps
  • Special events, holiday and break workshops
 
 
Compensation: $45,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year
