Position:

As a Snapology afterschool Instructor, you will lead and facilitate an one-hour after-school enrichment program, encouraging their creativity and problem-solving skills while instilling a passion for STEAM education. It’s entertainment, but also educational, through a hands-on learning that meets for one hour each week for 4, 6, or 8 weeks.

Ideal candidates enjoy technology, STEM, and teaching children ages 4-12. To be considered, candidates must have strong classroom management skills and be dependable, organized, responsible, and committed to quality work.

Role & Responsibilities:

Lead groups of up to 15 students through curriculum-guided activities, Lesson plans provided and prepared.
Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment
Manage student behavior in the classroom using positive reinforcement
Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students and use the information to adjust teaching strategies

Qualifications:

Criminal and Child Clearances must be current
2 or more years of experience working with children in a classroom or camp environment is preferred.
Flexible working hours, mostly during the after school hours - working 5-15 hours per week.
Reliable transportation to and from work is crucial
Fun and outgoing personality!

Spring, Summer, Winter Break Camps
Special events, Holiday and School Break Workshops

Compensation: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
