Do you enjoy working with children? Do you enjoy building with LEGO bricks? This could be your dream job! We are seeking instructors for the remainder of our summer camps and our new academic enrichment program!

Summer camp (weeks of 8/17, 8/24, & 8/31) from 8:15 - 3:30. You must be available Monday - Friday.

Academic enrichment hours are 1:00 - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday plus a morning class from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM on Wednesdays.

Position:
Our instructors are responsible for curriculum facilitation and classroom instruction. Ideal candidates enjoy technology, STEM, and teaching children ages 4-12. To be considered, candidates must have strong classroom management skills and be dependable, organized, responsible, and committed to quality work. Instructors will be paid $18-25 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Role & Responsibilities:

Lead groups of up to 10 students through curriculum-guided activities
Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment
Manage student behavior in the classroom using positive reinforcement
Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students and use the information to adjust teaching strategies

Qualifications:

Criminal and Child Clearances must be current
4 or more years of experience working with children in a classroom or camp environment
Prefer degree in education or STEM field
Teaching certification preferred
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others
Reliable transportation to and from work is crucial
Proven ability to report to work on a regular and punctual basis
